inescapable rhythms
Join us at Real Art Ways on the second Wednesday of every month for Inescapable Rhythms, Hartford's poetry reading and open mic series. The reading begins at 7:00 pm and is followed by an open mic in which members of the audience are invited to share their work.
The series takes its title from the Wallace Stevens poem, "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird." Stevens was a major American Modernist poet and a badass Hartford resident.
The series is now curated by Kristin Kostick, another badass Hartford resident. You can learn more about the series from our new website: http://www.inescapablerhythms.com/
